KI-YOUNG KWON

Professor

Ki-Young Kwon is an experimental chemist with empasis on surface science. He has interested in chemistry on the surface of hydroxyapatite (HAP). Previouly, he microscopically characterized HAP surface and dissolution kinetics by the direct observation of individual molecular steps on the HAP surface using AFM. Now, his main research topic is the synthesis of HAPs with controlled size, morphology, surface charge and surface functionality. (for more information, hapmaterials.com)
